In 2006 and 2007 I traveled to England and Scotland, spending time in the countryside and small villages. The green softness of the hills offers a captivating contrast to the colors and shapes found in the villages.

I did many paintings plein air. Painting with watercolor on a rainy English day posed some amusing challenges!
